Zlatan Ibrahimovic is on the verge of signing for Manchester United as per The Guardian. The Swedish striker has been linked with a move to Old Trafford ever since he left Paris Saint-Germain and now there has been twitter reports that the player is set to announce something big on Tuesday.
The reports suggest that the player has asked for £220k a week salary and the club is ready to provide that. Considering that there will be no transfer fee and given the player’s ability the deal is worth the price. There are also reports of a huge fee for the player’s agent Mino Raiola. One pending task that is yet to be over is the player’s meeting with Jose Mourinho. Ibrahimovic wants assurance from the manager that he will be in his first team plan.
At the age of 34, first team assurance is asking a lot, but given that Ibrahimovic regularly scores 20+ goals that is something that must be considered.
