Sanchez and Lingard to start – Predicted 4-3-3 Manchester United XI to take on Arsenal

Predicted Manchester United Line-up To Face Arsenal In The Premier League

A super Sunday awaits us as Premier League powerhouses Manchester United and Arsenal go head-to-head in a much-anticipated clash at Old Trafford this Sunday. The Red Devils will play host to the Gunners and both teams will be keen to secure all 3 points.

United come into this game after decimating Arsenal’s North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in an intense FA Cup semi-final at Wembley. The visitors will also be high on confidence after subjecting West Ham United to a crushing 4-1 defeat last weekend.

Probable Manchester United XI

Manager: Jose Mourinho

Formation: 4-3-3

David De Gea (GK)

De Gea has been instrumental in United’s success this season and if we are to walk away with a positive result, it is imperative that he performs well.

Ashley Young (LB)

Young has been a force to reckon with at left-back and the talented star is likely to hold on to his place.

Chris Smalling (CB)

Smalling has often been criticised for his nervy performances but lately, he has been quite reassuring at the back. Should find himself in the starting line-up against Arsenal.

Ashley Young

Phil Jones (CB)

Jones is one of our better centre-backs by a good measure and he should be deployed at the heart of the defence alongside Smalling.

Antonio Valencia (RB)

The defence line is expected to be completed by Valencia at right-back, who was exceptional for us against Tottenham.

Nemanja Matic (DM)

Matic has been one of United’s most influential players in the middle of the park and he is likely to be deployed in his usual role.

Ander Herrera (DM)

Herrera partners well with Matic and that should see him receive a starting spot for the game against Arsenal this weekend.

Paul Pogba (CM)

Pogba’s performances have been hit-or-miss this season but on a good day, he is capable of wreaking havoc upon the opposition. Thus, he is likely to retain his spot for this one.

Alexis Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez (LW)

Sanchez is finally settling down at Manchester United and he is likely to start on the left-wing this weekend.

Jesse Lingard (RW)

Lingard’s pace and creativity can unlock several doors for us and he should continue in his usual role on Sunday.

Romelu Lukaku (ST)

As always, our towering Belgian striker is expected to lead the line and possibly get his name on the scoresheet as well.
