Manchester United overcame Tottenham to reach the final of the FA Cup. In a tense and nervy match played at Wembley, it was Tottenham who opened the scoring, thanks to Dele Alli.
The Englishman scored in the 11th minute but any fears of us being overrun were quashed, thanks to Alexis Sanchez’s header in the 24th minute.
Ander Herrera then got the winner in the 62nd minute and even though Tottenham tried to put pressure on our defence, we looked stable and barely looked like conceding.
There were a couple of good chances for us to finish the game, especially one chance where Marcus Rashford should have shot at goal but was blocked by Michel Vorm and Eric Dier at the back.
This is a record 20th FA Cup final for us. Twitter was abuzz with United fans pouring out their happiness here are some of the best tweets.

Smalling and Jones were excellent together today. Completely nullified Kane. Good signs for the World Cup as well.

Yet again Harry Kane went missing in a big game, but he’s not Paul Pogba so no one will talk about that

Whatever you think of this United side, they have got heart and resilience. Huge comebacks against Palace, Chelsea, City and now Spurs. Going in right direction #mufc
