Sir Jim Ratcliffe is looking to get a striker ‘at similar level to Harry Kane’ with his new four-position transfer list for Manchester United
As reported by Mirror, Manchester United chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe has already drawn up a four-position transfer list for the team. This list is meant to serve as a road map as the INEOS chief tries to transform the squad this summer.
The Red Devils are in a desperate position right now, they are currently sitting at seventh on the Premier League table and could end up missing the European competitions next season if they can’t crack the top 4.
With this in mind, The Standard has reported that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is looking to bring in a striker at ‘a similar level to Harry Kane’. It has been reported that such a striker is currently being prioritized at Manchester United.
It has also been reported that the team is planning on pairing this new striker with Rasmus Hojlund. Additionally, the team is also looking to bring in a central midfielder, a centre-back, and a right-back.
The Mirror reports that Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise will be pursued by the Red Devils. Olise has a £60 release clause which will become active during the summer.
Moreover, it has also been reported that the team is looking to bring in Giorgio Scalvini from Atlanta BC. The 20-year-old is one of the best defenders in Italy at the moment.
