Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof might miss the game against Bayern Munich

According to the official Manchester United page, United manager Erik ten Hag is still unsure if our veteran defender Victor Lindelof will be available for the must-win Bayern Munich clash at Old Trafford.

In last week’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea, Lindelof was substituted at half-time and, as a consequence, was unable to participate in the 3-0 loss to Bournemouth on Saturday. Ten Hag didn’t seem completely convinced that the Sweden international would be back in time to face Bayern Munich, despite hopes. The team still has another training session before the game.

Ten Hag said:

“”We have training so, in this moment, I am not sure about everyone who is available for tomorrow but the question is over whether Victor Lindelof, whether he can make it or not. We will have to see tomorrow.”

United have suffered six defeats at Old Trafford this season, yet Ten Hag seems to remain confident that United’s regulars can make a positive impact on the upcoming match.

However, Casemiro has resumed outdoor training, although he is still sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Lisandro Martinez is currently dealing with a foot injury, while Tyrell Malacia is recovering from a knee issue. Christian Eriksen is nursing an ankle injury, and Mason Mount is still sidelined with a calf problem.

With Lindelof out, there’s a question mark hanging over who will partner Harry Maguire in the centre-back position. Will Ten Hag opt for Raphael Varane once more, or will he trust Luke Shaw in this crucial match? These are all significant inquiries, and the answers will remain elusive until tomorrow evening.

Jonny Evans made a successful comeback from injury during the weekend, indicating that the Northern Ireland international should be in good shape if the manager chooses to include him in the starting lineup.

More Manchester United News-

Rasmus Hojlund is set to lead the line, although Ten Hag will have few alternatives at his disposal. Aside from the main forwards, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Facundo Pellistri are the only other senior options available in the squad.

We are really hoping for a positive outcome in this game, with all our players giving it their all.
