As reported by Spanish publication Fichajes, Manchester United defender, Victor Lindelof is being looked at by the likes of Serie A side, AC Milan. His injuries don’t seem to pose an issue to the Italian side.

29-year-old Lindelof has missed 11 games this season due to a groin injury. Ever since he came back during the second half of the season, the Swedish defender has seemed out of his element.

Some rust is to be expected after such a long time on the sidelines. However, Lindelof has yet to do anything of significance for Manchester United despite his 22 appearances this season. His drop in form and expiring contract could be exactly what Milan needs to sign the perfect deal.

However, Fichajes has also reported that Milan isn’t the only club that is interested in Lindelof. A lot of teams are betting on the Swede to not be a plan for INEOS’ future plans at Old Trafford.

So, when the summer arrives the new management at Manchester United are expected to move on from Lindelof. A sale for the 29-year-old will allow the team to raise money for a new defender.

The Red Devils are also expected to move on from the likes of Raphael Varane and Casemiro so Lindelof won’t be the only player who ends up wearing a different jersey next summer.

As their season starts to fall apart, more and more players will start to be linked to an exit from the club. The Red Devils might blow up the team sooner rather than later.
