Manchester United picked up a big blow with Rasmus Hojlund getting injured. The Denmark international has been their main man up top for scoring goals this season.

Before getting injured he was on a run of six consecutive games of scoring goals and meanwhile making a record for the youngest player to score in six successive games in the Premier League.

His brace against Luton Town was witnessed by Harry Styles and former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas praised Rasmus Hojlund comparing him to a Manchester United legend.

Rasmus Hojlund has picked up a muscle injury. This injury is expected to keep the 21-year-old on the sidelines for a period of two to three weeks. According to Sky Sports, Rasmus Hojlund is scheduled to miss the Manchester Derby that is to be played on March 3.

Rasmus Hojlund will be a big miss for Manchester United upfront. It was seen in yesterday’s 1-2 defeat to Fulham at Old Trafford. The Red Devils struggled to replicate a similar presence up front with Marcus Rashford.

Rasmus Hojlund not only takes up important spaces but also he is good with his back to the goal.

Manchester United have had many injury problems this season. Luke Shaw, Casemiro, and Lisandro Martinez are all key cogs who have had to serve time on the injury table.

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire said that the injury to their star striker has been the story of Red Devils’ season.

“We got hit by the injury to Rasmus, who has been big focal point for us but it is up to us to find the solutions and the areas we need to improve on.

“He has been our focal point, we can play into him, he holds it up, he starts the press really well, not only that but Marcus has been playing really well on the left.

“It’s the story of our season, we’ve been injury hit – as other teams have – and we need to find a solution quick.”
