Manchester United and Liverpool target Ryan Gravenberch has been valued at £22 million by Bayern Munich this summer, according to the Mirror.

The Red Devils and the Anfield side are both looking to acquire the midfielder’s services in the ongoing transfer window. To that end, the Bavarians have named their price to part ways with the Holland national.

As things stand, Erik ten Hag is keen to reunite with the 21-year-old at the Old Trafford side. The Dutch manager oversaw his development during their time together at Ajax Amsterdam.

Subsequently, in the summer of 2022, Gravenberch decided to join Bayern. However, things have not gone smoothly for him at the Bundesliga giants.

In the previous campaign, the Holland national was hardly given any opportunities in the team, starting in only three league matches. In the new season, Thomas Tuchel has kept the midfielder on the bench in the first two fixtures.

Liverpool seemingly have problems in the middle of the park. The Merseyside outfit have lost Jordan Henderson and Fabinho this summer. As a result, they could pursue a loan deal for Gravenberch in the coming weeks.

At United, the engine room saw the addition of Mason Mount from Chelsea recently. The England international has not had the best of starts to his career at the Old Trafford side. However, the 24-year-old evidently needs some time to fit into a new environment.

As things stand, we seem to lack cover for Casemiro in the team. But Gravenberch does not look to fit that profile. The midfielder is more of a number eight.

Therefore, the Red Devils should arguably have different priorities at the moment. But still, will Ten Hag get Gravenberch at the Old Trafford side? Only time will tell.
