As per Football Insider (h/t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United are expected to listen to offers for young winger Amad Diallo in this summer transfer window.

It is also revealed that the Ivorian will get a chance to impress in the pre-season before a final decision is made on his future.

Amad is likely to get very little chance to break into the regular playing squad at Old Trafford next season. He was on loan at Sunderland last season and had an encouraging time there.

The 20-year-old scored 14 goals and assisted in three in 39 Championship games during the 2022/23 campaign. He is a left-footed right winger who can operate as a number 10 if needed.

United have a fantastic player of this profile in their squad – Antony. After a slow start following a move from Ajax last summer, the Brazil international finished the season well before picking up a small injury against Chelsea.

Coming back to Amad, he is 20 years of age and could do with playing games regularly rather than waiting on the bench to get sporadic chances.

Hence, it would make a lot of sense if United sanction a deal to sell the Ivorian, if and when a decent offer comes.

The Red Devils could anyway do with money via player sales to boost their financial stance when trying to make key signings this summer.

Adding a striker must be on their agenda. Talks are ongoing with Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund, with the player willing to force a transfer to make this deal happen. Can United offer enough money to get the Danish striker? The hope is that the answer to this question is affirmative.
