Barcelona keeping tabs on Manchester United duo Marcus Rashford and Diogo Dalot
Manchester United duo Marcus Rashford and Diogo Dalot are being monitored by Barcelona, according to Sport (h/t Manchester Evening News). The Blaugrana are looking at the English and Portuguese stars to strengthen their team next year.
Rashford (transfermarkt) and Dalot (transfermarkt) are currently in the final year of their existing deal with the Red Devils. However, the Old Trafford side are in talks with the winger and right-back over extending their stay in Manchester.
The English and Portuguese duo are in fine form at the moment for United. Rashford has seemingly found his feet under Erik ten Hag. Dalot has similarly performed well for the Dutch manager.
During the international break, the Portuguese continued with impressive displays. The 23-year-old played against the Czech Republic in the UEFA Nations League and scored two goals in a 4-0 victory for A Selecao.
The England international, on the other hand, was not selected for national duty. Rashford has been sidelined for the Red Devils in the last couple of games. The 24-year-old was not in the squad for the Europa League fixtures against Real Sociedad and Sheriff Tiraspol.
Rashford and Dalot have reignited their Man United careers
Rashford and Dalot have become vital members of the starting XI in the 2022/23 campaign. However, the English and Portuguese stars did not have the best of times in a red shirt last season.
Rashford was especially underwhelming for United. The 24-year-old barely made a mark on the game when he featured in the previous campaign.
Dalot did not get a lot of minutes until the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. However, with Ralf Rangnick preferring the 23-year-old, fans were not convinced of his qualities when he played.

But the two have proven supporters wrong this season. The Red Devils are on a four-game win streak in the Premier League. And Rashford and Dalot have been a big part of it. Hopefully, the duo will be able to continue in a similar vein throughout the campaign.
