Transfer News: Manchester United target Eduardo Camavinga targeting a move to PSG
According to transfer news from Foot Mercato (h/t Daily Star), Eduardo Camavinga is pushing for a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer amidst interest from Manchester United.
The 18-year-old has been on the radar of the Red Devils all summer, while Rennes’ sporting director also confirmed recently that the player has decided to leave the club. (h/t MEN)
Manchester United have been keen on adding quality depth to their ranks this summer, despite the club already boasting the likes of Donny van de Beek, Bruno Fernandes, Nemanja Matic, Fred, Scott McTominay, and Paul Pogba. However, things might change soon at Old Trafford.
Paul Pogba’s future at United has been uncertain for quite a while, and the player is now in the final year of his current contract at Old Trafford. That Pogba has refused a contract extension means that the club could lose him on a free transfer next year unless he leaves this summer itself.
Camavinga’s ability to play as a central midfielder as well as a defensive midfielder would have caught the eye of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but it does not look like the player himself is keen on a move to England.
The player is keen on moving to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, while his agents want him to sign for the Old Trafford outfit, as per French foot Mercato (h/t Daily Star).
