Transfer News: Inter Milan want Manchester United star Alex Telles on loan
According to transfer news from Sempre Inter, Inter Milan have expressed an interest in Alex Telles. However, they are only willing to go after the Manchester United defender if a loan-to-buy option is on the table. Inter see the 28-year-old Brazilian as someone who can strengthen the left side.
There was a lot of excitement when United brought in Telles last season from Porto. After all, he seemed like a better attacking threat than the options already at the club. However, little did Telles or anyone else know that Luke Shaw would take this as a challenge and up his game to such an extent.
The Brazilian found himself warming the benches more often than he would have liked as Shaw had one of his best-ever seasons. It was only when Shaw was rested or unavailable that Telles managed to get a rare game.
Telles is not a new name for Inter Milan. The Brazilian left-back spent a season on loan at the club in 2015 during his time at Galatasaray. Now, they are keen to get him on loan with an option to buy him next season. Inter are looking to bolster their left flank and Telles is the name they want.

It would be a mistake if he is allowed to leave even if it’s on a temporary deal. The former Porto man is a decent player to have in hand given there are over 50 games to play in a season. United would do well to reject any such offers from Inter.
