Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford involved in a heated spat

According to The Mirror, Manchester United duo Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford were both involved in a heated exchange during the club’s disappointing 0-0 draw vs Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

It was a frustrating night for the United attack, who could find no way past the Eagles defence. The Red Devils managed a paltry one shot on target the whole night.

With the side unable to make their efforts show, tempers flared in the second half. The tipping point came when Rashford was flagged off for offside in the Palace half.

Maguire was clearly unhappy with the striker and made it known. It prompted Rashford to question his skipper on what he should have done.

What followed was a foul-mouthed tirade where Maguire told his striker to stay onside. It was one of the two offside decisions that went against us in the game.

“F*****g get back onside.”

Rashford himself was enjoying a largely fruitless evening and fired back at the skipper, asking him to shut up in an expletive rant.

“Shut the f*** up, f****** k*******”

Manchester United huffed and puffed at Selhurst Park

It proved to be a frustrating night all around for United in the English capital. Such was our toothlessness going forward that Rashford’s rant at Maguire can be considered our best ‘attack’ on the night.

The Red Devils have now gone 285 minutes without scoring in all competitions. While off days do happen, the United players also looked lethargic and fatigued.

Tensions run high in games where the results don’t often go in our favour. Hopefully, Rashford and Maguire can put the spat behind them and get on with their duty.

The last thing we need right now is a division in the ranks.
