Largie Ramazani signs for UD Almeria

As reported by the Express, Largie Ramazani has joined Spanish outfit UD Almeria after having rejected a contract offer from Manchester United.

The 19-year-old Ramazani arrived at Manchester United from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2017. The exciting forward showed a lot of promise with our youth teams.

The Belgian ace racked up a return of four goals and eight assists from 30 appearances for the Manchester United U18s. Having been promoted to the reserves, he enjoyed a fruitful stint, bagging 11 goals and 2 assists in 18 outings. (h/t Transfermarkt)

Ramazani made a solitary appearance for the Red Devils’ senior team, which came in the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League against FC Astana.

Manchester United had offered the youngster a new contract towards the end of his current deal. However, the club weren’t willing to meet his wage demands, while he too was keen on regular first-team football. (h/t Express)

This led to an impasse, which eventually ended with him leaving the club once his contract expired. And, it has now been confirmed that Ramazani will be plying his trade in the Spanish second division, having signed a contract with UD Almeria. (h/t Express)

It is claimed that the versatile forward has signed a five-year deal with the Spanish outfit. Ramazani was among a host of youngsters to leave the club in July, along with the likes of Ethan Hamilton, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Dion McGhee and Demetri Mitchell.
