Manchester United are the favourites to sign Jadon Sancho, according to the Mirror. The Englishman is having a fine season with Borussia Dortmund and made his senior England debut during the recent international break.
The youngster has five goals for the Bundesliga side and seven assists this season. The 18-year-old left Manchester City to join Dortmund and the report adds that the Cityzens have a buy-back clause for the Englishman.
However, United are 2/1 favourites to sign the starlet while City are 3/1 favourites to get the attacker. There are a few Premier League sides interested in Sancho with Liverpool third in the list at 5/1 while Chelsea are at 10/1 and Tottenham are at 12/1, as per the report.
The youngster can play on either wing and is the hottest property in English football at the moment. The 18-year-old would be a welcome addition to this Manchester United side, and he would certainly provide us with a cutting edge in the attack.
Sancho would not come on the cheap but United can meet any asking price, given we spent huge sums on Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba in recent years.
United have a number of attacking options currently in the team but we didn’t start the season well. The team has improved their form in the last three games, and it will be interesting to see what our plans are for the January window.
