Reports in France have revealed that PSG intend to sell star midfielder Lucas Moura in the next summer. The quick diminutive winger, who has also showcased creativity, strength and sound technical abilities, has been a part of this PSG side since 2013. However, PSG seem to be running out of patience with regards to the 23 year old due to his inconsistent performances.
French publications Buzz Sport have reported that the side are willing to listen to offers for the winger come the end of the season for the player who still has more than 3 years left on his contract. In contention for the former Sau Paulo man are a host of clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Inter Milan, all of whom want to shore up their attacking options.
Lucas has made 15 appearances for PSG this season, bagging 3 goals and creating 18 chances (second to only Angel Di Maria in the side) and will remain crucial to the fortunes of the Paris side in the reminder of the season.
When asked about his potential future and about the rumours linking him with the Premier League clubs, Moura said:
“In football, you don’t even know about tomorrow,” Moura told SporTV, as quoted by Goal.com. “The Premier League is the strongest league and if tomorrow or later an opportunity comes and I’m not happy here, of course I’ll have a think about it.”
“I am pleased with the interest of big clubs in me – if it is true it shows that they are watching me and happy with my football. But my head is focused on PSG, I never thought of leaving here and I want to achieve my goals here,” he added.
