Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes Manchester United will not finish in the top four this season.

The Red Devils have struggled for form and drew their last game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

We have already lost a couple of league games this season and Carragher believes these results will cost us in the long run.

Carragher was asked who would miss out on the top four and was quoted by the Daily Star saying:

“On the evidence of what we’ve seen I’d say Arsenal or Manchester United from what we’ve seen in these opening six games.

“So far Liverpool winning, City winning, for Tottenham and Arsenal, for Chelsea and United to drop points against two of the lesser sides it’s a really big thing.”

Liverpool lead the table with six wins out of six while Chelsea and Manchester City have 16 points from six games.

United are already eight points off the leaders but some fans weren’t letting Carragher off the hook for his comments.
