Juventus could try and lowball Manchester United to sign outcast this summer
As reported by Italian publication Tutto Juve, Juventus are interested in signing Manchester United outcast, Mason Greenwood this summer. The Italian side is expected to submit an initial offer of €15-17m in an attempt to lowball the Red Devils.
The Old Trafford squad is trying their best to move the 22-year-old winger this summer. While he would bring a lot of quality to the team’s own attack, they would rather make a sale for him and sign someone else.
Greenwood has been stellar during his time with Getafe. The English winger has made 32 appearances recording a total of 10 goals and six assists. With his form in mind, it’ll be tough to see Man United accepting such a low offer from Juventus.
However, things could get interesting as Manchester United have also been linked with Juventus star, Bremer this summer. The Brazilian defender is a powerhouse and would go a long way to reinforcing the team’s defensive line.
The Red Devils will be losing a lot of quality on defence as talks suggest Raphael Varane, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof might not be a part of United’s future past this season. So, signing Bremer would be an excellent move for the team.
Since Manchester United and Juventus both want something the other has we could see them making a swap deal during the summer. It would be a win-win for both sides and the Red Devils will finally be able to get a consistent defender on the team.
