Fulham set to offer Tosin Adarabioyo new contract amid Man United interest
According to an All Nigeria Soccer report, as per Manchester Evening News, Fulham are keen on offering Tosin Adarabioyo a new contract.
The 26-year-old centre-back has become a mainstay in the Cottagers backline ever since moving permanently from Man City four years ago. His current contract expires at the end of this season.
Man United are keen to plug their defensive issues and are considering the former England U19 international to be a safe acquisition. They are likely to face competition from the likes of Liverpool, Spurs, and West Ham for his signature.
Adarabioyo has had an injury-ridden season this time round, having missed 12 games so far and featured in 24 across all competitions.
This should not, however, deter his suitors from pursuing him, especially if they are available to snap him up for free.
A smart pick-up, should United manage it
Man United have shown this season that they need defenders not only to increase competition at the back but also have options at their disposal given their injury issues.
A move for Tosin, if pulled off successfully amid interest from better-off teams like Liverpool and Spurs, would improve morale of the fanbase and help United establish the kind of reputation they are looking for going into a new era.
