Jorge Mendes is planning a blockbuster move for Manchester United involving Rafael Leao
As reported by Football365 (h/t Manchester Evening News), Jorge Mendes wants to move Portuguese star, Rafael Leao to Manchester United. The 24-year-old winger could cost up to £149m this summer.
Leao has been extremely impressive during his run with AC Milan. The 24-year-old has made 40 appearances this season and has put up some stellar numbers recording 13 goals and 12 assists.
The Red Devils would’ve had a completely different season if they had even one player who was producing at a level similar to Leao. The 24-year-old has a ton of pace and flair to his game.
Leao is also known for his excellent dribbling skills and his numbers show just how good of a finisher the player is. Moreover, the AC Milan winger can also create for his team. All signs indicate that Leao is a unicorn player.
He is also only 24 so there is still room for development in the young star. Man United could easily bring him over and deploy him on the left wing. However, that would mean Marcus Rashford would have to be benched.
Alternatively, they can deploy Leao on the right but that would be bad for Alejandro Garnacho. The team can figure out the specifics later but if Jorge Mendes truly is planning to move the 24-year-old to Manchester United the team should be all in.
