Arsenal could soon be knocking on the Old Trafford doors as they plot a move for Manchester United superstar
According to a report by Football Insider (h/t Manchester Evening News), Arsenal are interested in signing out-of-form Manchester United superstar, Marcus Rashford. The Gunners have been interested in the player for a very long time.
The 26-year-old’s recent falling out with the Red Devils seems to have reignited Arsenal’s interest in the player. Even though the matter has been closed, Arteta and his team are hell-bent on pursuing Rashford during the summer.
It is already known that Manchester United have a ton of big moves planned for the summer. However, in no way, shape or form has the club indicated that they would be willing to sell their superstar.
Despite Rashford’s poor form, the club has been fully supportive of the player and he has been a regular feature on Erik ten Hag’s squad. The 26-year-old scored 30 goals last season and has only been able to come up with four during this one.
Fans fully believe that Rashford will promptly bounce back. However, things could get very interesting if he doesn’t as Manchester United could consider selling him if he is poor for an entire season.
Moreover, if Arsenal make a ridiculous offer north of €100m then the club might pounce on the opportunity and cash in on their declining superstar.
