Borussia Dortmund have given an update on the injury sustained by Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho
Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho had been enjoying his time at Borussia Dortmund until he suffered an injury. It must be crushing for the player to get injured right when he was finally getting some playing time.
According to the German side’s head coach, Edin Terzin, the 23-year-old star has developed some muscle problems in the adductor region. He also says that this can be attributed to his long break.
The long break here refers to the four and a half months of exile that Jadon Sancho had to endure following his public falling out with Erik ten Hag.
Sancho’s stint with Manchester United has been so rough for him that it is even affecting his ability to play for other clubs. This has raised a lot of questions about his future with the Red Devils.
The current plan is for the English winger to return during the summer, at that time his future with the club will be reevaluated. However, if his injuries get even worse it’s hard to imagine there will be a lot of evaluation left to do.
It is good that Sancho is dealing with this injury over in Dortmund and not at Manchester United because the German side values him more. In 140 appearances for Borussia Dortmund, the 23-year-old has recorded 50 goals and 66 assists.
