Man United star is facing some serious consequences for missing training
Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford could be fined heavily for missing training. The 26-year-old was spotted partying at night and reported sick the next morning ahead of the FA Cup clash.
As a result, the Red Devils’ chief, Erik ten Hag omitted the English winger from the Newport County squad. When asked about what he plans to do about the situation all the Dutchman had to say was that it’s an internal matter and he’ll handle it.
Ten Hag has been known to be very strict about discipline. We have seen it before with Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo. Moreover, he could very well look to make an example out of Rashford.
As reported by The Sun (h\t CaughtOffside), the 26-year-old is expected to be fined a total of £650,000 which is two weeks’ worth of wages for the English winger.
There has also been some talk about him not being untouchable anymore. The consensus around Old Trafford is that all offers for Rashford will be entertained during the summer.
It seems like his tendency to party and not focus on his career has caught up with the Man United star. However, there are a lot of games left to play and depending on how he performs he could come into the club’s good graces again.
