Manchester United gain a transfer boost as Karim Benzema makes his intentions clear to Al-Ittihad
As reported by ESPN, Karim Benzema is eager to exit Saudi and wants to go out on a loan deal for the second half of the season, this is a good sign for Manchester United.
The Red Devils have been looking to get a deal done for the Real Madrid legend, now that he is on the same page as them, the team can go ahead and start negotiations.
However, Benzema’s wage could prove to be a big issue for Manchester United. The Frenchman is making a ridiculous amount of money in Saudi and Old Trafford might not be able to afford his bill.
The team now has a decision to make. Karim Benzema can come in and make an immediate impact on Manchester United. However, the Frenchman has been playing in Saudi for a few months and he might have trouble adapting to the Premier League’s intensity.
On a more positive note, the 36-year-old can give a lot of valuable advice to young Rasmus Hojlund. The Danish striker can make a breakthrough while studying under the former Balon d’Or winner.
Benzema scored 31 goals during his last season at Real Madrid. If he can showcase that same form at Manchester United then their season might still be saved.
