Tottenham will be missing a key player against Manchester United
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have both been dealing with plenty of injury issues this season. While the Lilywhites have been able to make the most out of the situation, the same cannot be said for the Red Devils.
Erik Ten Hag’s side has already lost 14 games across all competitions this season. Additionally, they have been knocked out of the Champions League and the Carabao Cup.
The team has one hope left for silverware this season which is the FA Cup. Their recent win against Wigan Athletic has helped them advance to the 4th round of the cup. However, their real problem will arrive on Sunday when they face Tottenham.
The matchup looks tough, but they have received some positive news. Giovani Lo Celso who was supposed to feature against Manchester United will now be missing the game, as reported by Tom Barclay.
Although the player is ready to go, Tottenham will look to rest him as a precaution because of a small issue with his hamstring. This is a smart move by Postecoglou who has already had his hands full because of injuries.
Manchester United must take full advantage of this situation as they look to get their season back on track. A win in the FA Cup was huge for the team, they must now carry this momentum to Sunday’s game and get the three points.
