Former Man United stars Alex Telles and Cristiano Ronaldo have been dominating in the Saudi Pro League. A video of Telles scoring an absolute banger has recently been making the rounds on X (Twitter).

The Brazilian national left the club in July this year. He made 50 appearances for the club recording one goal and eight assists for the team (transfermarkt). An underwhelming stint eventually saw the player depart for Al-Nassr.

Cristiano Ronaldo on the other hand is a Man United legend. His second stint with the club came to an abrupt end after he criticized the management. This led to his contract being terminated.

The legendary player has since been dominating the Saudi Pro League with Al-Nassr. Over 23 appearances for the club, Ronaldo has recorded 21 goals and 11 assists. Truly stunning numbers for the Portuguese legend.

What’s even more stunning is the volley scored by Alex Telles. The 31-year-old beautifully struck the ball from outside the box to find the top left corner of the goal.

The goalkeeper could only watch as the ball drifted into the back of the net. A truly marvellous strike. Fans are happy to see their former players do so well in the Saudi Pro League.

More Manchester United News-

While it is a happy sight to see former Man United players thrive with other teams, the feeling is surely a little bittersweet.

Time and time again we have seen talented Manchester United players underperform at Old Trafford. But, the minute that they get a transfer it’s almost like the talent returns to their bodies.

Is the pressure of playing for a club like Manchester United too much for these players? Or does this odd phenomenon occur due to the club’s poor management?
