Real Madrid players Antonio Rudiger and Jude Bellingham are full of praise for the Manchester United defender Harry Maguire

Real Madrid players Antonio Rudiger and Jude Bellingham all congratulated the former Manchester United captain Harry Maguire on Instagram after his heroic performance against FC Copenhagen.

Having lost their opening two UEFA Champions League games of the 2023–24 season, Maguire’s team needed three points badly. In their first two group-stage games, the Red Devils were defeated by Bayern Munich (4-3) and Galatasaray (3-2).

The former Leicester City defender headed home Cristian Eriksen’s cross in the seventieth minute of the game, and it was sufficient for the evening.

And it’s Harry Maguire, the perpetual whipping kid, who again achieves the winning run that continues. Maguire has been outstanding lately after starting and performing admirably in United’s previous four games, which saw us win the Champions League game against FC Copenhagen and the Premier League games against Sheffield United and Brentford.

Bellingham, who has international matches under her belt alongside the former Hull City player, wrote this:

“Love to see it H”

Rudiger also commented saying:

“Big Man.”

Maguire appears to have settled in after a slow start to the new season; he has started the Red Devils’ last three games in all competitions. It will be intriguing to observe if he can continue on this successful streak.

A string of injuries gave Maguire a chance, and he took it by proving he could perform at the highest level. He takes the same upbeat stance when defending. He is ‘dominating’ his opponents, according to Ten Hag, and this season he has won 13 out of 17 aerial duels in the Premier League and Champions League, a rise in success of more than 10%.

More Manchester United News-

All we can do is hope that Maguire who has been under fire for every error they have made, will be able to silence the detractors in the same manner as he did last night. We want to advance to the knockout stages after winning this important game.
