Manchester United told to replace Erik ten Hag with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp
Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan advised Manchester United to replace their manager Erik ten Hag with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
The Dutch manager joined United from Ajax ahead of the 2022/23 season. United finished 3rd in the first season under Ten Hag’s reign. Only Manchester City and Arsenal finish above the Red Devils in 1st and 2nd positions respectively.
Speaking to the Daily Mail (h/t Mirror), Jordan said:
The Red Devils have replaced many managers since Sir Alex Ferguson retired from the role. World-class managers like Jose Mourinho failed to achieve the success required to secure their job at the club.
The managerial role at United comes with high expectations and consistent achievements. However, the club has faced hard times to fulfil those expectations
It remains to be seen how the season pans out but many United fans will agree that it is too early to question the manager. United will be looking to secure more than the 75 points they achieved last season in the Premier League.
The Dutch manager will look to rejuvenate the United side after the international break. Ten Hag achieved the task of bringing the Red Devils back into the Champions League tournament. He is deserving of more time to get the club back to its former glory.
Not to mention, it would be nearly impossible to sign Jurgen Klopp. The German manager seems to have his heart set on Liverpool and has managed them for nearly eight years now.

Perhaps the aforementioned meant Ten Hag should be replaced by someone like Klopp, rather than literally Klopp himself. That would make more sense because the former Borussia Dortmund manager has already rejected the chance to manage us in the past.
And in that case, Ten Hag is here for just a year. It is unfair to say that he isn’t shouldering the responsibility for success in the long run.
