Atalanta not happy with how the representatives of Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund are working
As per the print version of Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Express), Atalanta are furious with the behaviour of the representatives of the Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund.
The Serie A side feel that the player’s side is trying to force through a move to Old Trafford. United have agreed personal terms with the striker but the clubs are yet to agree on a fee.
Keeping the latter in mind, it is understandable why Atalanta are not happy with the forceful nature of Hojlund’s reps.
Looking at it from United’s viewpoint, the first step of the transfer is done – agreement of personal terms with the player.
Now, can they negotiate a deal with the Serie A side and make the move happen in the coming days? Let’s hope that is the case.
United have recently agreed a deal to sign goalkeeper Andre Onana from Inter Milan. It seems like the club is banking on players with Italian league experience to fill important holes in the team.
We know Erik ten Hag could do with a striker in the team ahead of the start of the next season. Relying on Marcus Rashford to do all the scoring would be naive.
Although Hojlund has only had one season in the Serie A having arrived at Atalanta last summer, his numbers were good in the Danish league and has been encouraging for the Danish national team.

The 20-year-old has the pace, physical attributes and finishing prowess to do well in this United team. With playmakers such as Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes behind and the pace of Rashford beside, Hojlund can feast on the chances created and score a bucket load of goals.
