Denmark's head coach has confirmed the availability of Rasmus Hojlund for Manchester United vs Liverpool

Denmark’s head coach has confirmed the availability of Rasmus Hojlund for Man United’s game against the Reds.

Manchester United have a really important game coming up against Premier League rivals, Liverpool. The two sides will face off in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this Sunday. Both sides will be bringing their best.

The Red Devils’ best at this time seems to be Rasmus Hojlund. Even though he has missed the past four games due to injury, the Dane recorded six consecutive Premier League goals before he went down.

However, he seems to be back in full health as Denmark’s boss, Kasper Hjulmand has dropped a huge availability update while speaking to Danish publication Campo. Let’s have a look at what the manager had to say. (h/t Manchester Evening News)

“It is clear that Rasmus will play on Sunday against Liverpool and must get through the game well. We expect that. We are in contact with United. I have spoken to Erik, and we expect that to happen.”

The Danish coach added that Hojlund must get through the game in perfect health if he wants to be called up for international duty. While the Dane has all the qualities to play international football it could be hard on his young body.

We’ve seen amazing talents struggle with injuries if they’re called up for international duty before they’re ready. FC Barcelona’s Pedri is an excellent example. Hopefully, Hojlund will not meet a similar fate.

With the Dane on attack, Erik ten Hag‘s forward line will receive a big boost. The team held Liverpool to a 0-0 draw during their last showing. However, the Red Devils have to take the lid off on Sunday.
