Manchester United will battle it out with Bayern Munich in the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani
According to French outlet L’Equipe (Subscription Required), via Metro, Manchester United are a leading contender to sign highly-rated Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani this summer.
It is quite clear that the Red Devils are in need of a new centre-forward during the ongoing transfer window. The club has been striving to find a permanent replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo since his departure from the team in November.
To bridge the gap, United secured the services of Wout Weghorst on a temporary basis. The Dutch striker was unable to ease the pressure off the front line. However, they are now determined to make a significant investment in acquiring a top-quality striker.
United have been linked with several players as they search for a new striker to lead their front-line. Initially, Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane was their primary target for the summer transfer window.
