Steve Biko forward Adama Bojang on Manchester United radar
Manchester United have joined the race for Steve Biko forward Adama Bojang amidst interest from several other Premier League teams, according to The Guardian.
The 19-year-old has pooped up on the Red Devils’ radar. Newcastle United are also eyeing acquiring the services of the youngster, who shone at the U20 World Cup.
With his performances in Argentina, a number of top clubs started keeping tabs on the Gambian. In the English top flight, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers are monitoring the striker.
However, Germany is where Bojang’s heart is set. An unnamed team from the country have already put in a bid for the youngster. Steve Biko are looking for £2.6 million to part ways with him.
RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are hoping to get a hold of the 19-year-old’s signature. As things stand, the Gambian prefers a move to the Bundesliga.
Bojang was a key player for Gambia in the U20 World Cup. The 19-year-old scored a brace against Honduras in their opening game. However, the African nation were knocked out by eventual champions Uruguay in the round of 16.
Man United have an abundance of young talent at their disposal. Our academy is known for producing quality players. At the moment, Alejandro Garnacho has shown to have a promising future at the Old Trafford side.
In the striking department, the Red Devils seemingly lack depth. Anthony Martial has had a number of fitness issues over the last few months. Erik ten Hag was provided with Wout Weghorst in January to provide cover up front.
