Inter Milan could be forced to sell Andre Onana amidst Manchester United interest
Serie A giants Inter Milan could be ‘forced’ to sell Andre Onana in the upcoming transfer window amidst interest from Manchester United, according to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Red Devils have the Cameroonian on their radar. At the moment, the Nerazzurri are fighting for a place in the top four. If they miss out on Champions League football, they might listen to offers for the 27-year-old.
However, the Italian outfit would rather keep hold of Onana. But the Old Trafford side are monitoring the shot-stopper at the moment.

Currently, David de Gea is the number one at United. The Spaniard’s contract with the Red Devils is set to expire at the end of the season.
As backups, the Old Trafford side have Tom Heaton and Crystal Palace loanee Jack Butland in their ranks. With all due respect, neither of them is up to the Manchester-based club’s standards.
Onana established and developed himself at Ajax. Under Erik ten Hag in Amsterdam, the Cameroonian caught a lot of people’s attention with his performances.
Subsequently, Inter came knocking for the shot-stopper’s signature. The 27-year-old has become the first choice for Sione Inzaghi’s team. He has made 32 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A giants, keeping 15 clean sheets.
However, Inter have stumbled in the league as of late. They have dropped to fifth in the table. It remains to be seen whether the Italian outfit will attain a UCL spot.

If De Gea ends up leaving United next summer, we will evidently need to procure a new number one. Onana is familiar with Ten Hag’s ideas and style of play. Therefore, the Cameroonian is a decent option to have on our radar.
