PSG eyeing a move for OGC Nice midfielder and Manchester United target Khephren Thuram
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are eyeing a move for Manchester United target Khephren Thuram, who plays for OGC Nice, according to Mundo Deportivo via Fichajes.
The Ligue 1 giants are ‘determined’ to get hold of the signature of the midfielder as they plan their strategy for the upcoming transfer window. Over the years, the 22-year-old has developed into a fine player and has now landed on the French champions’ radar.
However, the Parisians will have to face competition from the Red Devils to acquire the France international’s services. Premier League rivals Liverpool are also interested in him.
As a result, PSG intend to react and sign Thuram. Christophe Galtier’s team have dominated Ligue 1 over the years. But the Champions League is one of the trophies that the French champions have failed to get their hands on.
The Parisians have an abundance of talent at the moment in the middle of the park. In the summer of 2022, they signed the likes of Vitinha, Carlos Soler, Renato Sanches and Fabian Ruiz. The Parc des Princes side also have Marco Verratti and Danilo Pereira in their ranks.
On the other hand, United’s bench strength has left a lot to be desired in recent weeks. In the absence of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen, we have been unable to perform at an optimal level.
Fred and Scott McTominay have been at the club for years but have been inconsistent. While Marcel Sabitzer has been an inspiring January addition, he is only on loan at the Old Trafford side from Bayern Munich until the end of the campaign.

Therefore, we could evidently do with some fresh blood in the engine room. Thuram has shown immense potential and talent at Nice this season. But will PSG beat us to him? Only time will tell.
