Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal to rival Manchester United for Barcelona striker Ansu Fati
Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal will rival Manchester United for the signing of Barcelona star Ansu Fati, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Red Devils have been linked with the signature of the 20-year-old. While the Spain international is highly rated, the Blaugrana could look to sell him due to their financial issues.
In order to bring in new players, the Camp Nou side might have to part ways with some of their superstars. As a result, the La Masia academy graduate’s future in Catalunya is uncertain.
Along with the trio from the English top flight, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are also eyeing Fati. The Germans are yet to fully replace Reboert Lewandowski, who joined Barcelona in the summer of 2022,
Apart from the Polish forward, Xavi can also call upon the likes of Raphinha, Ousmane Dembele and Ferran Torres. This has led to the 20-year-old’s game time with the Blaugrana dwindling.
In the current campaign, the La Masia academy graduate has made 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing three assists. However, the forward has started in just seven league matches.
At the moment, Arsenal are flying high in the PL. The Gunners sit at the top of the league table. They signed Gabriel Jesus last summer. But Eddie Nketiah is the only natural replacement for the Brazilian at Mikel Arteta’s disposal.
As for Tottenham, the North London side have a stacked forward line. Antonio Conte can count on Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski, Richarliosn and Arnaut Danjuma to find the back of the net.

Man United, on the other hand, evidently lack options up front. Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst are the only natural strikers in the squad for now. The Holland international is on loan from Burnley. However, it would be wise for the Red Devils to target a more established forward than Fati next summer.
