Independiente del Valle youth prodigy Kendry Paez being monitored by Manchester United
Manchester United are eyeing Independiente del Valle youth prodigy Kendry Paez and even had an offer rejected for him earlier this year, according to South American outlet Ole (h/t Express).
The Red Devils are one of the several clubs monitoring the 15-year-old. However, the side from Ecuador are not keen on parting ways with their young talent just yet.
Independiente del Valle are focused on Paez’s development for the time being. The Black and Blues hope the youngster performs well for the first team when he is ready so that they can command a decent fee.
The Ecuadorian side will only listen to offers for the 15-year-old when they deem him ready for the next step. For now, any team that will sign the prodigy will have to wait until the young prodigy is 18 to bring him to the club.
Paez is seen as the best player in Ecuador’s best academy. The youngster is a left-footed player who plays in the number 10 position for his youth side.
United know a thing or two about promising prospects. We also have one of the most renowned academies in the World. The likes of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville were all developed in the Red Devils’ youth setup.
Currently, we have a few stars in the first team who came up after playing for the youth sides. Marcus Rashford is the most prominent name in the squad at the moment. The 25-year-old is an academy product of the Old Trafford side.
Other players like Alejandro Garnacho and Anthony Elanga are also our own. The Argentine has been impressive in the last few fixtures for United.
