Manchester United prepared to pay £67 million for Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro and double his wages

Real Madrid could receive a hefty bid for Casemiro, with Manchester United prepared to offer £67 million for the Brazilian. The Red Devils are also ready to double the 30-year-old’s current salary, according to Relevo (h/t Express).

United have been after a number of midfield targets this summer. However, it seems the Red Devils are willing to go all out for Casemiro. The Manchester-based club would be happy to offer the five-time Champions League winner £360,000 a week.

Having failed in their bid for reinforcements in the middle of the park this summer, United seem determined not to falter again. The end of the transfer window is near and the hierarchy needs to be quick.

Casemiro is a disruptor in the engine room. The Brazilian is known to stop opposition attacks from progressing by any means necessary. The 30-year-old’s robustness has been key to the way Madrid has played over the years.

Signed from Sao Paulo by Los Blancos in 2013, Casemiro is in his 10th season in the Spanish capital. The Brazilian has been a key member of every manager who’s stepped into the Madrid dugout over the years.

However, Madridistas have had their complaints about Casemiro. The 30-year-old’s distribution isn’t his best attribute. Under pressure, the Brazilian leaves a lot to be desired.
