Ralf Rangnick advises Manchester United target Sasa Kalajdzic to stay put at VfB Stuttgart
Former Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has advised Sasa Kalajdzic to remain at VfB Stuttgart this transfer window amidst interest from the Red Devils.
United are seemingly after attacking reinforcements this summer. There have been a few players that the Red Devils have gone after. Kalajdzic has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
The former interim United boss is now the head coach of the Austrian national team. Speaking to Sky Germany (h/t Metro), Rangnick suggested the Stuttgart centre-forward to remain in the Bundesliga for now.

“It is important that Sasa remains injury-free this season and trains and plays at the highest possible level.
“If he stays in Stuttgart this season, it will not be detrimental to his development.”
Kalajdzic has suffered due to injuries for some time now. Since joining Stuttgart in 2019, the giant number nine has spent a lot of time on the sidelines for the German outfit.
It might just be an innocent suggestion from Rangnick. But there have been other players recently who’ve been told not to join the Manchester-based club by former United managers.
Louis van Gaal advocated against Jurien Timber’s move to the Old Trafford side this summer. In the end, we failed in our pursuit of the talented Dutch centre-back.

There seems to be a negative vibe around the Manchester-based club at the moment. United haven’t helped themselves in recent years by making somewhat wrong signings. Even the quality additions the Red Devils have tried to bring in this summer have appeared to be uncertain about us.
United has evidently lost its sheen. The fans have also had enough. The Brighton & Hove Albion game reflected the lack of planning at United. Thus, some fans have planned a boycott in our next home game against Liverpool.

Kalajdzic seems to be another target that the Red Devils might have a difficult time convincing. United haven’t had the best of track records this summer in getting the players needed. It won’t be surprising if the Austrian decides to stay in Germany.
