According to Manchester Evening News, Dylan Levitt will soon leave Manchester United for Dundee United on a permanent deal as both teams have reached a final agreement.

Last season, the 21-year-old spent a lot of time in the holding midfield but also frequently played as a central midfielder for the Scottish Premiership team. During that time, he made 30 appearances for them in all competitions, providing one assist and scoring six times.

However, even after his recent international successes with Wales, the 21-year-old is yet to be spotted returning to preseason training with United and it seems he could be on his way out of the club very soon.

Now, it is believed that Manchester United have reached a full agreement with Dundee United for the transfer of Dylan Levitt who is set to be announced as a permanent signing by the Scottish Premiership club before the end of this week.

One could have imagined that Levitt would at least be given the opportunity in the pre-season to impress ten Hag. That is especially the case considering Man United’s midfield exodus this summer.

Our midfield is somewhat understaffed as a result of the departures of Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Paul Pogba, and Nemanja Matic, particularly in light of the five substitution limits that will be in place starting in the following season.

Even still, it appears that Levitt was not given the opportunity to demonstrate his value. That speaks a lot about the club’s trust, or the lack of it, in the midfielder as of now.

Perhaps that could be down to Levitt, who desires to play regularly for the first squad in order to qualify for the national team before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He recently made it into the Wales lineup, and his recent Nations League effort against Poland, in particular, was among his best.

Levitt would benefit much from rejoining Jack Ross since he would have a comfortable foundation upon which to construct his future. But it’s up to both organisations to reach an agreement during this summer’s transfer window.
