Robin van Persie sends heartfelt message to new Manchester United signing Tyrell Malacia
Tyrell Malacia has received a heartfelt wish of luck from former Manchester United forward Robin van Persie who shared the video message on Twitter which was quoted by the official Manchester United website.
Having extensively collaborated with Malacia from his current position as assistant manager at Feyenoord, Van Persie explains to United supporters what to anticipate from the 22-year-old. The Dutch legend also appealed to United supporters to take care of the youngster and stay by him through the good times and the bad.
“To all Red Devils fans, you’re not only getting a talented full-back but, as well, a fantastic person,” he continued. So be nice to him, support him in good times and bad times, he will give absolutely everything for you guys. So, I’m sure it will be a great connection together.”
Given that he was a key contributor to United’s last league triumph, Van Persie undoubtedly understands what it takes to be successful there. Ten years after that remarkable campaign, United haven’t won the league since, and it’s up to another Dutchman again to take the club to where it truly belongs.
