Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has denounced Jamie Carragher for his criticism after the 4-2 defeat to Leicester City
According to Manchester Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hit back at Jamie Carragher for his criticism following the defeat at the hands of Leicester City. Solskjaer has claimed that Carragher is deliberately trying to create uncertainty within the Manchester United dressing room.
United recently suffered a loss at the King Power Stadium as Leicester beat them by a 4-2 scoreline. Man Utd are in a rut at the moment having won twice in seven previous games.
Following the defeat, the ex-Liverpool player was very critical of the Red Devils boss on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football show. The former Reds defender has said that Ole is not good enough to help the English club get back to their lofty heights.
“He knows himself as does every Manchester United fan, that he isn’t at the same level as the other manager at the top of the Premier League.”
However, the Norwegian manager has accused the pundit of his intentions for the criticism. He continued by saying that the ex-defender is trying to unsettle the team ahead of the clash against Liverpool.
“It doesn’t affect me but of course you see some of the comments, we’ve got Liverpool on Sunday as well so Jamie is always looking at these little things.”
