Gary Neville excludes Jadon Sancho from his strongest Manchester United XI
According to the Mirror, Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has omitted summer signing Jadon Sancho from his best Manchester United XI.
The English international arrived at Old Trafford in a deal worth £73million this summer. One of the world’s finest young talents, he is yet to hit his stride as a United player.
The same cannot be said of our other two major summer signings – Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo. Both players find a spot on Neville’s list, unlike Sancho.
Much was expected of Sancho when he arrived at Old Trafford. While it is far too early to dismiss him as a flop, early signs do not seem promising. It is hard to pinpoint a single noteworthy moment the 21-year-old conjured on the field in red.
Neville, for one, appears to think so. Answering a question on Twitter, the veteran defender revealed his first choice United XI. Not only does it not include Sancho but also deploys Paul Pogba in a holding role.

The Red Devils started off the season brightly with a dominant demolition job of Leeds United at the Theatre of Dreams. Cracks have, however, appeared in the team over the last few games.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have won just one of their last four games, losing the remaining three in the process. The onus is now on the Norwegian and his players to respond to this ‘crisis’ in the best way possible- by silencing their doubters on the pitch.

As far as the current form is considered, Sancho’s omission is fair. But the youngster’s talent and potential is undeniable and he should bounce back strongly.
