Gary Neville names the three summer additions who can lead Manchester United to the title
Manchester United legend Gary Neville has taken to Twitter to name the three players the club needs to sign this summer in order to secure the Premier League title.
Taking part in a Q&A, Neville has no doubts that the trio of Harry Kane, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane will help United finish above Manchester City.
All three players have been linked with a move to United in recent months. It promises to be a busy summer at the Theatre of Dreams as they look to build upon the promise shown this season.
The three stars will however not come cheap and it remains to be seen if the club will do what is needed to land them. The Glazers for their part have been touted to splash the cash on a marquee signing.
With fans disgruntled with their ownership, they believe bringing in a big name will help appease the supporters. While they may be ready to bankroll one major signing, it may be fanciful to suggest they will get all three.
The three musketeers?
According to The Metro, Sancho is the most likely of the three to sign for United this summer. The English international will strengthen our right-wing and add a new dimension to the Red Devils attack.
It is no secret that United are seeking a new centre-back to play alongside Harry Maguire. With Varane’s contract at Real Madrid set to expire next year, it remains to be seen if United can land their man.
Kane has emerged as a possibility in recent days since making it clear he wants to leave Tottenham this summer. Spurs want an enormous fee for the England captain, taking his price to over £100m.
