Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo in the Top 3 highest ranked players in FIFA 22
According to an announcement done by EA Sports (h/t JOE.co.uk), Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is among the Top 22 players on the video game FIFA 22.
The 36-year-old, who made a sensational return to Old Trafford after 12 years, has yet again featured high on the list of ratings on the FIFA game. Moreover, the Portuguese has also been ranked among the Top 3 players in the game.
However, the former Real Madrid man has missed out on the top spot to Paris Saint Germain’s summer signing Lionel Messi, who has picked up a rating of 93 on the football-based video game. Although Messi is above Ronaldo, there is one more superstar above the United legend in this year’s edition of the game, and that man is Robert Lewandowski, who has a rating of 92.
The Polish forward guided Bayern Munich to yet another Bundesliga title last season with his ridiculous goal-scoring feats. While Ronaldo also scored a bucket-load of goals with Juventus last season, the Portuguese only managed a rating of 91. However, the 36-year-old does have the highest pace statistic amongst the Top 3 players in the game.
The fearless forward is also the joint highest-rated Premier League player on the game, alongside Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne.
The Portuguese will be hoping to become the highest-rated player in the next edition of the game and has already started to make a case for it. The striker has started his second stint at the Old Trafford outfit in great form as he bagged two goals against Newcastle United on the weekend.
