Manchester United fans send Marcus Rashford their best following successful shoulder surgery
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has finally undergone his long-overdue shoulder surgery.
The English international took to Twitter to confirm the same and revealed that everything went well. While there is some soreness in the body, there is nothing to be worried about. He is feeling well and is now on the route to recovery.
The English ace played through injury last season and was also included in the England squad at the Euros. Mercifully, he did not get much playtime and was spared the brunt of an overtaxing summer. While he will be out of action for the foreseeable future it is a better option than to risk playing him under duress.
Despite his age, Rashford has made over 300 senior appearances for club and country. It is imperative that we don’t overtax him and ensure his body is given time to recover and recuperate.
Rashford was United second top-scorer and assist-getter last season, trailing only Bruno Fernandes in both categories. His return midway into the season will add new zest to a United side looking to beak their trophy hoodoo.
Untied fans thronged to the player’s Twitter account to send him their best. We take a look at a few of them below.
