Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes turned up the style in Portugal’s pre-Euro friendly against Israel.

The Red Devils ace netted twice and assisted another in an emphatic 4-0 win for the defending champions. It could very easily have been more with Fernandes going close on numerous occasions.

The 26-year-old comes into the summer after an excellent season with United where he topped both the goals and assists tally. While the Red Devils may have ultimately come up short, Fernandes’ contribution cannot be dismissed.

He can now put the disappointment to rest and go on to achieve glory. A successful summer will also put him in the right frame of mind going into the 2021/22 season with United. After all, once you get used to winning, it is something you get accustomed to.

In a side that also stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Diogo Jota and Andre Silva, it was Fernandes who opened the scoring against Israel. He followed it up with an assist for Cristiano Ronaldo soon after as Portugal went in 2-0 at the break.
