Fabrizio Romano: Manchester United reopen talks for Jadon Sancho

According to the reliable Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have now reopened talks for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

The 21-year-old is one of the best young players in the world and it is now the second summer in a row that we are after him. Unlike last time around, the Red Devils appear to be acting fast.

United are in talks with the player’s entourage regarding personal terms. There could soon be an offer on the table that will run until 2026. While there has been no official bid yet, things appear to be moving forward.

As far as Dortmund are concerned, they are ready to part ways with their star winger. Despite them lowering the fee, United will still need to fork out around €90-95 m to get their man.

A dynamic player who will vastly reinforce our right-wing, the Red Devils will certainly be getting their money’s worth in Sancho. More so, at just 21 he has it in his locker to be a key player for us in the years to come.

Arch-rivals Liverpool were also said to be interested in the player and in a position to afford him. However, Romano confirms that the Merseysiders have not yet made a move.

Sancho is a world class addition

The Red Devils were keen to make a move for the 21-year-old last summer. However, the Germans were unwilling to lower their £108m asking price, much to United’s annoyance. This summer, however, feels ripe for us to make our move.
