Transfer News: Manchester United keeping tabs on Jack Grealish
According to transfer news from The Athletic (subscription required), Manchester United are keeping tabs on the development of Jack Grealish. The Red Devils have been impressed with how well the English midfielder has performed and might make a move in the summer.
The 25-year-old has been the subject of interest from the Red Devils, as well as cross-town rivals Man City, in recent weeks. Grealish only signed a new deal last year that should keep him at Villa Park until the summer of 2025.
Having barely staved off relegation last season, Villa could finish in the top half this time around. Grealish has led from the front in what has been a promising season for them.
The 25-year-old has 6 goals and 12 assists this season and has led from the front. He leads the club’s assist tally despite being injured for most of this year.
Grealish is being viewed as an alternative to Jadon Sancho by United. The club have been impressed with how he has developed at Villa. He has even gotten into the selection frame for England. United are hoping that a chance to play Champions League football will be an enticing prospect for Grealish.

Villa are expected to demand at least £80million for their star man. A proven candidate, adding Grealish to our ranks would be an excellent move. However, it does not appear to be straightforward lest we say easy on the pockets.
