Harry Maguire gives potential injury boost to Manchester United
According to Daily Mail, Harry Maguire has given some bit of good news to Manchester United regarding his injury. The United captain was spotted walking without his crutches or protective boot at the premiere of Sir Alex Ferguson’s documentary.
Manchester United fans could be forgiven for gasping when Maguire went off against Aston Villa. He has not played for the club since getting injured earlier in the month.
Maguire injured his ankle ligaments and has already been ruled out for the remaining Premier League fixtures.
His absence appears to be proving far more detrimental than expected, with United losing two and drawing one of the last three in which he has not been able to play. They have also conceded 7 goals during the time, with Liverpool scoring four at Old Trafford.
With the league pretty much done and dusted, the bigger problem is Maguire’s availability for the Europa League final against Villarreal on 26th May.
While things looked a bit grim initially, Maguire’s latest appearance without his crutches and protective boot gave some cause for optimism. He was pictured at Sir Alex Ferguson’s documentary premiere.
