Fans react as Edinson Cavani wins Manchester United Player and Goal of the Month awards

Edinson Cavani capped off a productive April with Manchester United for which he was awarded the club’s Player and Goal of the month awards. Cavani’s all-round show against Roma in the first leg was a strong performance that included the Goal of the Month.

The Uruguayan’s future may still be in doubt but he has done what he does best – score goals. In total, he bagged 5 goals across the month of April and added three assists to that as well. However, his first goal against Roma was awarded the GOTM award.

Cavani has been brilliant for us this season. He has proven his doubters wrong and has been a handy player for Manchester United this season. It will be interesting to see if we extend the Uruguayan star’s stay at Old Trafford.

Despite his age, he remains a top-class player and we can only benefit by keeping him for another season as he would surely be a positive influence on the youngsters in the team.
